As we bring our 2007 AutoCAD drawings into the 2008 world and xref them into new drawings, the annotative scales list becomes outrageously HUGE! The list becomes so large over time that the dialog box for the ' SCALELISTEDIT ' command will not even open.
I'm changing a set of drawings from Imperial to Metric and I'm trying to delete all of the Imperial scales from my scale list. Except for two drawings this hasn't been a problem. In one drawing I cannot delete the scale 1'-0' = 1'-0'. When I go to paperspace and look at the properties it shows the Annotation Scale as 1'-0' = 1'-0', but I can't change it. It is set to 1:10 in model space, and in the other drawings the paperspace scale was 1:1. In another drawing, again I am stuck with 1'-0' = 1'-0' and I can't find anything that it is attached to, not even paperspace. It really doesn't matter that much, seeing as how they are the same thing anyway, but does anybody know why these scales are stuck in my drawings and how I can purge them?
